Real Life Nyan Cat? Photo

Time for you guys to see all the useless awesome shit I bought for myself this weekend at Nekocon 2012.

Obligatory food purchase. This stuff is awesome. And this is the best flavor.
For the record, I did also get Pocky and Ramune, but I had those at the con. I tried the Takoyaki ramune, which was weird and bready. I also tried Rosie’s Ginseng ramune, which tasted like parsley to me.

Pokeball decal for my car. I guess I didn’t think through too much that a red decal on my window won’t stand out much on my red car. -_-

Rosie has had one of these since we were kids. This same one, with the Charizard on it. I believe it was originally a $5 promotional thing at Burger King. I was jealous as balls of her when we were kids.
So the box that it’s in is fugly as sin, but the ball inside is like brand new:

Still wrapped. Until I open it. *has no respect for “new” collectibles*

Pokeball charm that I’ll put on a chain and wear as a necklace.

Ugly Golbat. Both this and the Pokeball charm were made by EatToast, who does some absolutely phenomenal work… I was most impressed by the Avengers ponies and Doctor Who owls.

The Pokeball earrings and Nyan Cat necklace were both presents from Kevin, who got them from the booth around the corner from EatToast, whose seller I can’t presently recall. Both were much appreciated. <3

Sneasel plush! It’s so cute! I had to buy it because (a) it’s a Pokemon, (b) it’s a Pokemon I keep in my party often, and (c) it was cheap the last day.

This beautiful art print by Julia Lichty is one of my favorites from this whole weekend. I have an undying love of both tentacles and steampunk, and I’d seen this picture countless times before. Seriously. Check out my fucking happy face.
Bonus picture!

Me dweebing it up in my Nyan Cat hat from Athena’s Wink that I bought at Nekocon last year. I wore it for the less than two hours I was at the con on Friday in my Nyan Cat costume. (Which I don’t have any pictures of. :P)
I’ll be there.
Friday: Probably Nyan Cat.
Saturday: Probably Beetlejuice.
Sunday: Probably Steampunk.
Let’s be friends.
